Dexter Chew // Student Design Award

Tiki is a locally made ‘cardboard’ toy designed as an cheaper, safer and sustainable alternative to vinyl-based designer toys. Individuals are engaged mentally, physically, emotionally and socially, as they assemble, imagine and design their favourite figurines in 3D. Users are able to train their spatial imagination in a comfortable environment through simple planar surfaces. Tiki’s carefully designed internal structure makes her strong and studry.
